lol im not gonna do your homework for you. but i will give you ideas. essays are soo easy... like, eating healthy. excersizing. sleep enough. etc
yeaah, not doing homework but nice idea. but 5 good info filled topics would be strength training, cardio and enduance, streching, dieting, and im not sure but i've heard wonders about yoga and all that stuff.
I hope that I am not doing this simply as an assignment for you but rather as an inspiration. So here goes... Fitness to me, is a "quality of life." It is not a drudgery that I detest, rather a privilege to be able to possess. It involves diet, exercise, stretching, meditation and prayer. My favorite choice of activity for cardiovascular fitness is hiking. I am fortunate enough to live in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains and take full advantage of daily walks/hikes in the woods. During these walks up and down pine strewn hills/mountains, I open my heart to God in prayer, thanking him for all that I am grateful for. This is one of my favorite times of day and a must do, not only for my physical well being, but for my spiritual as well. Here are some benefits that cardiovascular exercise offers: 1. Weight loss 2. Stronger heart and lungs 3. Increased bone density 4. Reduced stress 5. Reduced risk of heart disease and some types of cancer 6. Temporary relief from depression and anxiety 7. More confidence about how you feel and how you look 8. Better sleep Along with my daily hikes, I make it a habit to get to the gym four days a week to do weight-training. The benefits of weight-training go far beyond what it does for my outward appearance. It not only gives me an outlet for my excess energy, it also offers the following benefits: 1. Weight training tones your muscles which looks great and raises your basal metabolism...which causes you to burn more calories 24 hours a day. You'll even burn more calories while you're sleeping. 2. Weight training can reverse the natural decline in your metabolism which begins around age 30. 3. Weight training energizes you. 4. Weight training has a positive effect on almost all of your 650-plus muscles. 5. Weight training strengthens your bones reducing your risk of developing osteoporosis. Cardio and weights alone is not all-inclusive to acheiving fitness however. If nutrition is not a part of the equation, you cannot be considered "fit". I follow a clean, well-balanced diet, yet to ellaborate on this could take a whole book to explain. Along with the above-mentioned activities, I also incorporate daily meditation. This offers me a chance to still my body and mind; and as a result, reduces the stresses that accumulate throughout the day. In closing, I would like to encourage anyone that has not already adopted a healthful fitness regimen, to do so now. For this is how nature intended it to be and the results are absolutely outstanding.
