It depends if you want to stay at your current weight, gain or lose weight. Use the Daily Calorie Needs Calculator. Based on your age, sex and activity level, it will calculate how many calories you burn per day and give you a good idea of how much to eat.
Daily Calorie Needs Calculator - http://www.straighthealth.com/pages/tools/caloriecalclb.html
at least 1200, no more than 2000

1400 per day no more no less.
As many as you burn off in a day to maintain your weight now.
2148.34 per day.
See link below.
about 1700 1800
you could eat a million calories and if you burned more through excercise than you eat it is ok. just try not to eat more than you can burn.
1200- 1600 you need calories to live but to stay healthy eat anything except high fatty foods.
Around 1800-2000 depending on how active you are.
The FDA food labeling standard adopts the Recommended Daily Allowances (RDAs) from the average USDA 2,000 calorie dietary guidelines - promoters of the famous food guide pyramid which haunted so many of us back in elementary school. Remember? Starches on the bottom and fats and sweets up top....
Interestingly, the new generation of elementary school kids are getting to hear a slightly different message: the USDA recently introduced a new pyramid which is called MyPyramid and emphasizes the following:
limiting sugar intake
eating more whole grains
avoiding trans fats
limiting saturated fat intake
eating 20% to 35% of daily calories from fats
consuming monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats
Hope this helps!!!
To maintain your weight you need to eat your weight timesX15 calories. Assuming you exercise a normal amount. So you'll maintain if you eat 1785 calories a day. If you don't know calories, read labels. And you can buy one of those little paperbacks at any drug store or book store.
