How did people stay healthy during the time period? I mean like fitness, medicine, etc.

Well for a start, people had to do a lot more for themselves. Petrol was rationed, so everybody had a bike or walked to where they were going so they got a lot more exercise than nowadays where people just hop into their car. They also had to work hard as well.
Food was rationed, which meant they only had a small amount of food to live off. All the rest had to be grown at home. This means that a lot of their food was organic and not mass-produced and imported. Sugar was one of the hardest things to get hold of, and they didn't eat many sweets or chocolate.
Cod liver oil was also issued to children by the government. They were to take a spoonful every day to ensure good health.
