Self Help Question And Answer

WHy is it that some are "self-absorbed" and others trumpet "my whole entire life purpose is to help others"?

I have come to the determination and conclusion that self-absorption is actually good. It DOESN'T mean selfishness, but focusing on the self to realize what is a good life, improve introspection to work on weaknesses, intellect, habits, change bad to good habits, realize the wrong one may have done to others, feel remorse, reflect, etc.

You need to have a balance of the two. You need to take care of yourself and help others at the same time. If you are too self-absorbed people won't like you and if you help others too much you might not be happy with yourself. Balance.
i am self absorbed sometimes but i also like to help people sometimes but i dont devote my life to it
Why not, if we exclude the misunderstanding some have for pride, then good relation between self and its self is the objective generally. On the other hand, self authorship has its drawback: the product is only as good as the author, and who may that be I wonder. The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.
To an extent you are right, only there are many who carry it to the extreme and isolate themselves from the good that others share.
