Keeping Fit Question And Answer
Does anyone who keeps fit have advice on losing weight when its very cold outside.I find it difficult to motivate myself when it raining, freezing cold and dark all the time.I like jogging when its summer but cannot get myself going when its cold.Any advice on what to wear etc,so i don't catch a cold?
I train sporadically, probably because i'm a shift worker.I'm a gym member and do mostly cardio vascular training with a little bit of weight training.
i think i need to get myself into a proper routine with my eating habits too.ie,no drinking alcohol through the week and lots of vegetables, chicken, fish etc.
I am a 32 year old male,6ft and approximately 205 pounds or 14 stone 8.i am quite fleshy around the stomach and definitely need to tone my midriff.
Any like-minded people would be welcome to give me some advice.
Thanking you in advance.
Paul
Ok so there's a teacher in school who is nearly 70. I know that he's kept himself fit because he used to be a P.E teacher at my school and he only retired about 3 years ago (He still teachers part time and covers lessons so I've seen him quite alot) And apparently he still goes jogging but I'm not sure if that's true. I know that 70 isn't that old but my Grandad is the same age and he isn't as energetic as him. I mean he can get around and look after himself and stuff but he has defiantly slowed down and he retired years ago. And I have never ever seen or heard about him jogging! I'm not even sure that he even can! My question is do you have to keep as fit and healthy as possible all your life to be as able as this teacher is now at his age? Or is it just luck because I've heard of people like the 101 year old man that ran the london marathon that admitted himself that he was just lucky?

Like I've been working out all my life but I'm a big fan of Britney and just her shape and everything I've always wanted to know. She's beautiful and I just wanted to know. Like I've tried finding what it is. All I know is that she used to take Zantrax 3 (I don't though) and does a thousand crunches a day. Also I've tried finding Janet Jacksons routine and diet but I don't know her body type isn't what I would desire only Britneys. I'll be waiting when she finishes giving birth as she said her workout is going to be intense.

I am thinking of having my first baby and have a fantastic structure right now (size 8 - 10) but I am afraid of losing my shape forever after being pregnant. How can I keep exercising during pregnancy and after to keep fit and trim and not harm my baby? Is this really true? Does it mean that even if you eat not particularly healthily, but hit it hard at the gym, that you'll not see much benefit? Is it really a 70 / 30 split?

chest so I need a good support bra as I didn't do this and I was in horrendous pain for days, any suggestions on where to get one? I also wanted to ask do I need to warm up first? If so what do I do?
When I used to run I didn't warm up I'd just leave the house and start to run which is why I was asking if I should warm up and if so how?
Would you share your strategies about keeping fit, so others, including myself, can benefit?

I'm 14 year old girl...average size, not too big or too skinny, and I'm not looking to lose heaps of weight or anything like that. I weigh around 50 kgs and am I think something like 160cm. Let's say I don't do any other type of exercise (I do - but just pretend I don't) will 30mins of 'power yoga' keep me fit + healthy? I don't eat heaps or anything. Not necessarily lose weight to be like 45kgs but be fit, healthy and flexible?
I've been doing yoga for a while now, but I just want to know whether there is a ... point to it.
:] thanks heapss
