are these good foods to maintain a healthy lifestyle as well as losing weight?
i have less than 10 pounds to lose. what do you recommend for it? it's maybe more like 5 or 6, it's not. maybe one of the reasons it's not coming off is because it's not even a lot to begin with. foods that i am eating are brown rice, fish, beans, romain/iceberg lettuce, yogurt, special k cereal w/ skim milk, chicken, and salmon.

You sound like you're off to a good start! Give it time, weight loss doesn't happen overnight. Stick to this diet, drink PLENTY of water, and don't forget to exercise!
Those foods sound good. Also add some fruits like blueberries that are high in antioxidants. Don't forget vegetables too. Try to make your diet healthy and well rounded so you can maintain a healthy weight. Good Luck.
Yes, these are good foods. I would cut out all iceberg lettuce and add things like kale (chopped super fine, for taste purposes), spinach and things that are dark green. Also, don't eat anything from a box, eat whole foods like oatmeal, oat groats, 9 grain cereal, add a banana, raisins, milk, no sugar. If your eating yogurt, don't eat the kind with added sugar. Try plain yogurt w/ 100% fruit juice added, like raspberry apple juice, it's yummy and you can't tell the difference. Even then, sounds like your eating well, just really cut down on anything that has added sugar or anything processed to be safe and exercise, if your not already, maybe adding a little to your workout or changing your workout to lose the last little bit.
