Diets Question And Answer

I have to lose at least 15 pounds in 3 months, any ideas or good diets?

I have to go to a dance audition to enter a dance school and you have to be super fit, I'm a good dancer but I am a little curvy. I'm 5'2" and 130 lbs. Ineed to be at least 115 by the audition. Does anyone know of any real diets or ideas to help lose weight. And next to my dance classes, I am gong to a gym as well.

Do they rate you by weight, or looks? It should be how well you dance. Get a personal trainer at your gym, and also ask a nutritionist for help. Basically eat a healthy, well balanced diet, and do strength training and cardio.
do the master cleanse diet for two weeks I lost 12 pounds in 8 days
You should be able to lose 15 pounds in three months. A normal weight loss amount per week is about 2 pounds, and given that you have 12 weeks, you should be fine. What you may want to do is go see a registered dietitian (do not go to a nutritionist, that is not a regulated title and they may have absolutely no experience whatsoever). He or she can help you determine your caloric needs and ways to achieve your goals. If you cannot go to see one at this time, I would recommend writing down everything you eat and drink for 5-7 days. (This means everything--gum, Starbucks, a handful of pretzels... everything!) Total up your calories (use calorieking.com to check your caloric intake) and see where you are at. You should probably be at around 1,200 calories per day, especially since you are attending a gym. Make sure you are eating healthful, small meals 4-6 times per day, and you should see the weight come off. Also make sure to change your workout routine at the gym every few weeks. You don't want your body to adapt to what you are doing and stop burning calories at a higher rate. And, if you aren't weight lifting, you may want to start. I would work with light weights (given that you are a dancer and don't want to add mass), but it will help you tone your body and look less "curvy." Also, you may want to take measurements of your body (around the bust, ribcage, waist, and hips) as you begin, and once every month, so once your weight loss plateaus (it happens to all of us), you can see that you are still losing inches. Best of luck!
