Diets Question And Answer
I feed my pets mostly premade raw diets. I don't make my own because I just don't have the time. I do, however, like to provide a variety for them, though.
Those of you who use premade raw diets, what are some of your favorite brands/formulas?
I have to go to a dance audition to enter a dance school and you have to be super fit, I'm a good dancer but I am a little curvy. I'm 5'2" and 130 lbs. Ineed to be at least 115 by the audition. Does anyone know of any real diets or ideas to help lose weight. And next to my dance classes, I am gong to a gym as well.
I am jus tryin to look for a diet that is healthy what kinds of diets are pretty good diets to lose weight on.
Low carb diets are intended for the athlete who has to lose significant amounts of weight in short periods of time: wrestlers, MMA fighters, boxers, body builders, etc. They are not meant to be a lifestyle choice. Suggesting these diets to the average person looking to lose a couple of pounds makes no sense as nearly all the weight lost in such a diet will be gained back ( I just fought saturday, weighed in at 185, and weigh close to 200 today). These are dead end diets. Look to balance your intake with strenuous exercise. Exercise and balanced nutrition is the key, not fad dieting.
I know there are many diets that - if followed - help you lose weight.
But some diets say they will help you lose belly fat first. Do these diets really work for that?
I heard going on diets like adults do isn't good for teenagers. So what one is suitable for a teenager? Besides the whole 'eat healthy and excersize right' thing.
What are good diets for everyone who dreams to lose weight?
Hey my dad asked me to find him some facts and good diets for him to lose a bit of weight. He's 180 cm tall weighs 80 kg's and he has been on the border of being a diabetic for 10 or so years. Anyway he was just interested in some facts and good diets for people like him.
Any ideas?
Thanks :)
I have heard that some detox diets can help you loose weight, because your colon can be blocked with rubbish and poisons (mostly from meat). Is this true?
I've seen people go on diets and very very few work. But when I see someone come out of boot camp, whether 6, 8, 9, or 12 weeks they always come out more healthy than they did before. Is it true that boot camp is the best way to get into shape....and I know boot camp is supposed to get you ready for the real thing, just give me an honest answer.
Only anwsers from people that have actually done the diets and they have worked. How hard were they? What do they involve? How much weight did you lose? and how fast did it work? Thank you in advance!
I need heathy diets and excersizing methods to help women/teenage girls lose weight
Hey, do you guys know any good diets for someone trying to get a rock hard, tight and good body. If you know any good links then that would also be highly appreciated also, thank you.
how do you feel about vegetarian diets? and why is it good for your health?
I want to lose the baby weight while I'm breastfeeding. I'm hoping that my body will use my stored fat to make milk. From experience, which diets work best for this? I want my milk to be good for the baby, so I can't go on any diets that cut out food groups completely.
Any books or websites with the diet plans on them would be helpful :) I'm trying to read up before I give birth!
Seriously? Atkins, south beach, master cleans, they are all diets that people do and typically consume less than 500 calories a day.
If it is so bad, why do so many models and actors do it?
It is the weirdest thing like my ribs stick out yet i have fat under the belly button. What are some really unique and specific diets to target that area!
It canjust be a unique diet to it doesnt have to target that area.
Ps i excersize 5 times a week for a good three hours, like running and stuff.
Last year, I think it was south beach diet. I noticed that the buzz over that has gone down. what are the popular diets now?
I heard of the green tea diet, where you drink green tea for breakfast and lunch and then have a sensible dinner. I just want to loose about five pounds, I'm really small, and when I gain five pounds it really shows. Anyone know of any other diets to try?
My friends son must avoid gluten in his diet. I wanted to inquire about this, but I felt it would be impolite of me to ask. So, why must some people completely avoid gluten in their diets?
Is it unhealthy for growing teens to go on calorie-restricting diets and cut out certain foods from the diet? What are some possible consequences if a teen was to do this?
What are some good diets and exercises that will make my stomach flat and possibly give me a 4-pack?
I'm just curious as to why most of the diets that I have been on in my life have wanted me to avoid caffeine. When I was on the Atkin's diet some years back it advocated avoiding caffeine. Now that I am trying out the "raw foods" diet, the guidlines to it advocate avoiding caffeine as well. Why is this? Is caffeine fattening? I can find no information to tell me that it is for a fact fattening available online, so I'm turning to you people for an answer. Thanks for the info!
I am a girl, 16 years old and I weigh 152. I want to get down to 120 by prom which is 6 months away. That's 32 pounds. I need to know what diets work the best and show results fast. Please give me serious answers and not stupid ones just so you get points.
I am 5'8.
I just started College a month ago and also started the birth control pill about that time and have put on a couple of pounds. Nothing to worry about but I don't want those 2 pounds to turn into 20. I've heard negative and positive things about detox diets. I'm just curious what your opinion is on it.
I really need to, but I want like easy-type of diets. Not those hard-core ones with rules and stuff.
And without exercising please.
Thanks...
I need to lose some weight with out going on crazy stupid diets that don't work. I am young, 14 to be exact, and I need to lose weight!
I am 17 and looking for diet to try like jenny craig and nutrisystem, but those are way expensive so does anyone know of any cheaper diets that help you lose alot of weight.
I'd rather be put on the diet than actually trying to make the food myself. I'll cheat horribly.
I need to write a compare-contrast paper on two popular diets-- I was wanting do use Weight Watchers as one, but I can't decide on the second one.
I want to choose something that is very strict with the food-- like nutrysystem or jenny craig.
what are some other "interesting" diets?
well, i wanted to do weight watchers becasue you can still eat whatever you want, but you're watching calories, fat and fiber to create points....
jenny craig food is loaded with salt and so restrictive....
when i went on weight watchers after i had my baby, my diet consisted of coke, twinkies, water and cereal, and i still lost 3 lbs in a week......
the key is moderation!!!!!
I am seeking a manageable diet in which I can eat my own food and manage it without it demanding a lot of my time. I have heard that the nutrisystem works but it is not my own food. Could I have some feedback on some diets and if you all have tried some and have before and after pictures it would be nice to see them. Also, give the time rates in which how long the diet took to work and to have an effect.
I know people say fad diets don't work, but there have to be a few that really do.
I need to lose like 20lbs and I just now and going to start working on that...so what are some diets that really work.
And what are some good exercises for the hip, thighs and belly...
Does running on a treadmill work those areas?
How about some good work out videos?
How about some free websites that can help me out
No matter how you slice it - the one thing that all diets have that work - everything from Atkins to South Beach -- is calorie reduction. All these "diets" are just tricks to get you to eat less. Sure, the Atkins has a metabolic effect by lowering carb intake, but everyone I know who has tried Atkins has ALSO reduced their calories (even if they didn't do it consciously). They find themselves ordering the steak dinner at a restaurant and discarding the baked potato. Well, that jumbo backed potato has several hundred calories. If you eat your steak, green vegetable, and a soup, but skipped the potato - what have you done? Reduced calories!
With all these juice diets and soup diets -- weight watchers -- and all the rest -- add them up! People doing these things are eating less!
People! Eat less and eat right! That's the way to do it. Don't do Atkins or juice diets. Don't starve yourself. Take in 500 calories a day less than you burn, and you WILL lose weight.
Diets don't work. I have tried almost every diet. Even laxatives. I stay on a diet for a while and lose weight but then it gets old and I start with the old habits again. At times I eat out of emotions. Any suggestions?
I am not fat. I am a skinny teenager who doesn't want to become a fat adult. It has happened to a lot of people in my family and I don't want to be like them. I don't want to go on a hardcore diet I just think that maybe I am eating to much junk food because I am eating a lot. I still want to be able to get the sweets and other good foods I like so do you know any diets that might work for me.
The Atkins diet is definitely unhealthy, but are there any other fad diets out there that work? I need to lose some weight, and I've tried a few of the diets out there, but most of them have made me into an even bigger fat stinking hog. Are there any that work?
Need to lose weight! After I hit age 30, I can't seem to lose weight. I have changed the way I eat, have gone walking and running and I don't seem to being losing anything. Need helpful advice. I don't want to do any crash diets or pills. Please help!
Why are prescription diets for dogs considered to be so brilliant, whilst I am not given a prescription diet which is completely 'balanced' for my own health condition? If I were a dog with Additon's Disease, I would be offered Hills ID, and my owner would be told that it would help with my condition. Because I am human, there is no such thing as a 'balanced' prescription diet. Does anyone have any ideas why this is so?
What diets have you tried that actually work and are quick? I am just trying to find a good diet :)
I'm a firm believer in not just dieting but creating a healthy lifestyle, something that a person can stick to. With that being said, what diets have worked for you? Have you stuck to them and made them apart of your lifestyle or did you just diet short term?
I am trying to reduce inches off of my belly and sides, and I need to know what are the most effective exercise methods and diets that work. I'm not trying to loose weight, Im just trying to tone my midsection. If anyone knows of anyways that have PERSONALLY worked, then it would be most helpful. Thanks!
My girlfriend feels she needs to lose weight and i wouldn't mind getting in shape myself. Only problem is we don't where to start. What diets can you start and what type of exercise routines we should use?
Also is there a site we can go to for tips on making healthy food for cheap, exercise routines and etc.
Really appreciate it
I've been having a lot of stomach pains for about 3 years now and I never noticed a pattern in it. Well I've finally found it. After I eat or drink a dairy product my stomach hurts. But I'm also a vegetarian. What are some foods I can eat and some diets to lose and keep the weight off?
this is a dumb question but i just HAVE to know. are teens )ages 12-15) supposed to be on diets? i hear both sides, one thats its ok to be on a diet as long as you get enough nutrition, and others say you're not because it'll mess up your growth. all i wanna be is skinny but my mom says i dont need to lose weight (long long long story short, i was bulimic. i loss wieght but i wasnt really, just looked leaner and more toned) and so yes, are "growing bodies" alright to be on diets???
